CITY COMMISSIONERS HAVE rescheduled until next month a final vote on a new multi-year law enforcement contract with the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office.

This week, commissioners got their first look at the uniforms (photo above) for the city's five civilian park rangers, a new program in the contract's $15.8 million first-year budget.

And they learned it will cost an extra $9,505 a year for body cameras for the park rangers, which will boost the annual base cost for that program to $509,505.
