LWB picks finalists to help find new city manager

City commissioners are on course to hire a new full-time Lake Worth Beach city manager in 2026

Lake Worth Beach city commissioners are on course to hire a new full-time city manager next year after two choosing two potential search firms Dec. 8.

Sitting as the Evaluation Commission, city commissioners picked MGT Impact Solutions, with headquarters in Tampa, and Sumter Local Government Consulting based in Atlanta from a shortlist of seven recruiting firms specializing in municipal employees.

The firms will be interviewed by commissioners at a special meeting Jan. 15 at 5 p.m. Commissioners hope to approve a contract for the chosen firm at their regular meeting on Jan. 20, launching a formal city manager search that could take at least three months.
