LWB officials reviewing potential safety issues with trees at 2 downtown intersections
Responding to concerns from residents, Commissioner Mimi May asked staff March 31 ‘to justify whether or not we have a legal obligation to move these trees’

LAKE WORTH BEACH city officials are looking into whether new shade trees are creating blind spots for motorists at two downtown intersections. If staff determines those trees are impairing driver sightlines, they’ll likely be removed.
The review was requested by Commissioner Mimi May at the City Commission meeting March 31.
