THE BEACH CLUB, the municipal golf course restaurant known for affordable food, a casual vibe and spectacular water views, could soon be entering its final round at Lake Worth Beach Golf Club.

Lake Worth Beach plans to seek proposals for a new restaurant at the city golf course to possibly open next spring or summer. E.R. Bradley’s Lagoon Saloon, operators of The Beach Club since October 2013, will be encouraged to submit a proposal, city commissioners said April 21.

Commissioners also agreed to extend The Beach Club’s lease to April 30, 2027. The lease had been set to expire Aug. 3.
