Lake Worth Beach must decide what to do with its empty oceanfront swimming pool, shuttered for nearly 10 years
ANYONE HOLDING OUT hope that Lake Worth Beach’s shuttered casino swimming pool can be restored to its former glory won’t like what a consultant said earlier this month.
“It has clearly structurally failed,’’ Merrill Romanick of the firm Zyscovich told city commissioners April 7. “Mechanically, the systems are all gone. We are going to speak to it in our report, but it is beyond repair,’’ she said.
