Benny's on the Beach seeking lease extension at Lake Worth Beach Pier

BENNY’S ON THE BEACH is seeking a lease extension that would keep the restaurant at the Lake Worth Beach Municipal Pier through 2043, a request city officials have agreed to consider.
The iconic restaurant, a pier staple since 1986, is a hotspot for locals, tourists and celebrities such as actor Dustin Hoffman and musician Jon Bon Jovi. Its current lease, approved in May 2023, is set to expire on Jan. 11, 2033.
“While our current lease has some time remaining, we believe that proactively securing a long-term extension now is in the best interest of both the city and Benny’s,’’ reads an undated letter from “The Benny’s on the Beach Family.”
